      The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country. ‘National Law University Delhi’ admit students with the help of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)

      CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities.

      1. Is there any eligibility criteria to appear for CLAT ?
      Well ! An Aspirant must have secured minimum marks required in 12th standard, as per the category to which one belongs:
      •For Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories – A minimum of 45% marks required.
      •For SC/ST Category – A minimum of 40% marks required.
       
      Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May for that year CLAT are eligible to register for Common Law Admission Test. They must submit an evidence of their successfully clearing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they will lose their right to be considered for admission.
      •Submit the result of qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) at the time of CLAT Admission.
      •In case of equal marks, the tie-breaking procedure is as follows:
       •Higher marks in the section of legal aptitude in CLAT. 
       •Higher age
       •A computerized draw of lots

      3. What is an average CLAT score required to get into TOP NLUs ?

      Well ! It’s highly advisable to target 110+ out of 150 to get into TOP NLUs. Hence; At the least 73.33 Percentage is required.

      4. How many seats are there in all the NLUs ?
      NLUs segregate the seats as per the category of the candidates. The total number of seats offered for admission is around 2,175. Mentioned below are the seat categories on which the distribution is done.
       
      •The All India Seats for UG programmes are 1,308.
       
      •The total number of seats offered to the candidates of the state where the NLUs are located is 621.
       
      •The number of seats available for the special category is 325.
      5. How much on an average it will cost a student to peruse Five Year BA LLB from NLUs ?

      We cannot answer this question forthrightly; because a few NLUs charges on an average 18lakh per five years and a few 15lakh per five years and a few only 12lakh per five years. We can answer one thing forthrightly that payment of fee will never be burden for the students because all most all the banks in india will offer educational loans with out any security to the students getting into NLUs.
